SAR announces grant, scholarship recipients

Grant and scholarship winners were honored by the Selkirk Association of Realtors on Aug. 3 at a special luncheon event.
A total of $29,000 in grants and scholarships was awarded, with the funds raised from SAR's annual charity golf tournament.
"SAR is so glad to be able to help students further their education and help our community by supporting organizations that care for our residents," Stephanie Rief, SAR association executive, said.
Receiving grants were Wrenco Community Center, Curley Creek Volunteer Fire District, Bonner Gospel Mission, Bonner Partners in Care, Creations, Sandpoint Teen Center, Bonner Soil and Water Conservation District, Community Cancer Services and Helping Hands Healing Hearts, Gardeners for Organic Wellbeing (GROW), Community Resource Envision Center and VFW Post 2453.
Scholarship recipients are Sage Saccomanno, Adeline Henney, Jobey Dillon, Jacob Gove, Taylor Sadewic, Mikayla Schoening, Weston Benefield and Colin Roos.
