ORDINANCE NO. 302 2023 AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2023 APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $411,399.00.  TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF EAST HOPE, BONNER COUNTY, IDAHO FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR, AUTHORIZING A LEVY OF A SUFFICIENT TAX UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY AND SPECIFYING THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES FOR WHICH SAID APPROPRIATION IS MADE. The cost of the improvements completed this fiscal year is to be financed by the United States Department of Agriculture – Rural Development Grant Funds in the amount of $42,863.00. SECTION IV: That a general tax levy on all taxable property within the City of Priest River be levied in an amount allowed by law for the general purposes for said City, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2023. SECTION V: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION VI: The City Clerk of the City of Priest River is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the County Commissioners of Bonner County, Idaho, and the Idaho Secretary of State, in accordance with Idaho Code 50-1003 and 63-804. SECTION VII: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage, approval, and publication in one issue of the Bonner County Daily Bee, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Priest River, and the official newspaper of said City.
