A second term for Biden is unthinkable

| August 20, 2023 1:00 AM

A second term for President Biden? Are you kidding? Biden is clearly losing his faculties, and by the end of a second term, he’ll be a basket case. What is the DNC up to? They must think Biden has the best chance of beating Trump; that rope-a-dope will work again: hide in the basement, don’t do press conferences or make public appearances, and let Trump punch himself out. Then what? Biden’s handlers continue to make policy decisions for another four years, all the while assuring everyone that Biden (aka El Sid) is alive and in charge.

But Biden will be the target of never-ending accusations, investigations, and lawsuits, just as Trump was (and is), and who needs that? The DNC strategy appears to be to drag him across the finish line, then persuade him to resign. The vice president will become president and pardon Biden and his family. The problem is that Kamala Harris is the vice president, and no one in either party wants to see her become president.

The solution: Two guys with no necks, Big Vinny and Little Vinny, pay Kamala a visit prior to the convention, show her one of her kids' ears, and convince her to resign. She will be replaced by Gavin Newsom, who has been circling overhead like a buzzard, waiting for an opening, and whose poll numbers are higher than Kamala’s. Biden and Newsom are elected, and after reflection (and a visit from the Vinnies), Biden resigns, leaving Newsom to become president, pardon Biden and his family, and proceed to do to the country what he did to California. I can’t wait.

But it may not be Biden versus Trump anyway. They could be cellmates at Rikers Island.
