Thomas Ellsworth, 40

Thomas Joseph Ellsworth, 40, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in an auto accident near Sandpoint, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint.

Tommy was born at home on Rapid Lightening Creek near Sandpoint on July 22, 1983, to Edward and Connie Ellsworth. He grew up as a true mountain boy and attended schools in Sandpoint and attended Sandpoint High School.

Tommy worked in logging, carpentry, furnace cleaning and built steel structures. He was an avid outdoorsman, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. He was a true wanderlust at heart but always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his mother, Connie Ellsworth of Priest River; brother, Mike (Jennifer) Ellsworth of Priest River; two sisters, Amber Ellsworth of Spokane, and Marti Ellsworth of Lewiston; two nieces, Shae and Reilly; and three nephews, Roody, Nathen and Tanner.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Martin Ellsworth; and sister, Crystal Ellsworth.
