Festival's changes are not for the better

That was a terrific letter written by Linda Hess, and I agree with her 100%.

My wife and I, along with many of our friends, used to attend The Festival every year when it was really a lot of fun. But we have all stopped attending. There are too many new rules about what you can and can’t do.

I don’t know who is implementing all of these new rules, but someone should take a hard look at this and replace that rule-maker who does not understand local Sandpoint folks.

The Festival directors and the management need to get back and take a look at a few years ago and run The Festival like it was so more locals can once again attend The Festival and see some enjoyable entertainment, food, and beverages under the stars.
