Couple fete 60th wedding anniversary

Ralph and Beverly Goding recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married July 31, 1963.

Ralph Goding retired from General Telephone/Verizon after 32 years. Beverly worked as the Athol city clerk for five years, was manager of the Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce for five years, and worked as a real estate broker for Goding & Company, Better Homes and Gardens, from 1990 to 2023.

The couple owned and worked together in several businesses in Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry throughout the years and were active in real estate development in Sagle.

Among the businesses owned by the couple were Squatty Bodies Deli and Ice Cream Parlor, the Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry Radio Shack stores from 1992 to 2002, Kootenai Gift Store in Bonners Ferry from 1994 to 2002, and Providence Lavender Farm from 2022 to 2023.
