JR. HIGH WRESTLING: Priest River boys capture District 1 title
KELLOGG — Priest River’s Justin Hopkins (80), Royce Redinger (92), Elijah Moore (98), Billy Rapier (110), and Ukiah Martinez (Heavyweight), all won their respective weight classes to lead the Priest River middle school boys wrestling team to a district title Thursday.
Grady Caudill (74), Tadhg McLaimtaig (86), Easton Schmaltz (92), David Harbinson (104), Layton Goins (137), and Devon Long (160), all took second place for the Spartans.
Khayden Kurlio (80), Gideon Rapier (86), Chris Barns (110), and Nicholas Grow (170) all notched crucial third place finishes to help propel Priest River to victory.
