Tags remain on county's giving tree

SANDPOINT — There are still several tags left on Bonner County’s giving tree and county staff are hoping that Santa will grant everyone’s wish before next week’s deadline.
County officials are asking that anyone who is able to take a tag and donate a gift to a child in need this holiday season.
“Gifts must be wrapped, with tag visible and returned to Suite 101 at the (Bonner County Administration Building) by 3 p.m. Dec.13,” staff said.
The tree is located in the lobby of the administration building and individuals are encouraged to stop by and grab a tag anytime during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
