Candlelight Concert Series announced

The community is invited to join the Suzuki String Academy for the first concert in its Candlelight Series Holiday Classics this weekend.

Concerts will be held at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Heartwood Center in Sandpoint.

Attendees will be transported into a magical world of candlelight and string music performed by Suzuki String Academy faculty and friends at the black tie event. Musicians include Ruth Klinginsmith, Marianne Wall, Jacinta Howard, Evan Schwenk, Scott Boekenoogan, Andy Ohlrich, Hannah Andring, and Brendan Naples.

Hundreds of candles will illuminate the venue, creating a serene atmosphere to enhance the listening experience.

So put on your gown, tux or holiday best for an elegant evening and be carried through time with nostalgic Christmas musical traditions from past to present. All guests will receive a complimentary glass of wine from Pend d'Oreille Winery and charcuterie provided by Black Caviar Catering.

Profits from the event go to support students and music programs at Suzuki String Academy.
