PREP BASKETBALL: Strock, Tomco combine for 40 in Sandpoint girls win over Lewiston
SANDPOINT – Sandpoint got out to an early lead and didn’t look back as the Bulldogs defeated Lewiston, 58-42 in an Inland Empire league match at Les Rogers Court on Saturday.
Senior Aliya Strock and freshman Jordyn Tomco both had a game-high 20 points for the Bulldogs. Tomco, who started in the absence of Karlie Banks (ankle injury), also had six rebounds and a team-high four steals in the contest.
Freshman Brecken Mire also had a standout game for the Bulldogs; she had 10 points, and added a team-high four assists and eight rebounds.
