Council takes on packed agenda Wednesday

SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint City Council is approaching their final meeting for 2023 with close to 20 items on its agenda.

Under consent calendar items, the council is expected to confirm appointments to two commissions. Mose Dunkel, Ivan Rimar and Scott Torpie are expected to begin new terms with the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission. Barry Burgess, Rick Decker and Kate McAlister are expected to begin new terms with the Arts Culture and Historic Preservation Commission. 

The council will also be considering another amendment to a contract for custodial services with ASAP Services, Inc. which includes contract renewal for another year. Council members will also consider an application for an Idaho Transportation Department and Office of Highway Safety Grant.
