REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RFP 232811 AUDITING SERVICES FOR BONNER COUNTY 2023 ANNUAL AUDIT The Board of County Commissioners of Bonner County will receive and publicly open sealed proposals for RFP 232811 for Auditing Services for Bonner County Financial Report 2023. Submit sealed proposals to Bonner County Commissioner’s Office at 1500 Highway 2, Suite 308, Sandpoint, Idaho 83864 no later than 4:00 p.m. local time, on January 9, 2024. All proposals will be electronically date and time stamped as they are submitted. PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE CITY OF PRIEST RIVER The City of Priest River City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, beginning at 5:30 pm at the Priest River City Hall Council Chambers, 552 High Street, Priest River, ID, to consider public comment regarding the institution of new or increased municipal utility connection fees, special revenue fees, and general revenue fees. Information about the proposed rates and changes may be obtained from the office of the City Clerk at Priest River City Hall during regular business hours. SUMMARY OF CITY OF SANDPOINT ORDINANCE NO. 1410 Avista Gas and Electric Franchise AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AVISTA CORPORATION, d/b/a AVISTA UTILITIES, A WASHINGTON CORPORATION, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, THE NONEXCLUSIVE RIGHT, PRIVILEGE, AUTHORITY AND FRANCHISE TO LOCATE, CONSTRUCT, INSTALL, OWN, MAINTAIN, REPAIR, REPLACE, EXTEND, OPERATE AND USE FACILITIES IN, UPON, OVER, UNDER, ALONG, AND ACROSS THE FRANCHISE AREA FOR PURPOSES OF THE TRANSMISSION, CONTROL, SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRICITY AND GAS WITHIN THE CITY. Following is a summary of the provisions of Ordinance No. 1410. Ordinance Section 1 provides for definitions; Section 2 provides for the grant of franchise and payment of franchise fee; Section 3 provides for Avista’s operations and maintenance; Section 4 provides for reservation of the City’s rights and powers; Section 5 provides for relocation or conversion of Avista’s facilities; Section 6 provides for indemnity; Section 7 provides for franchise dispute resolution; and Section 8 provides for general provisions.
