Janet 'Jan' Mae Hatcher, 80
Janet "Jan" Mae Hatcher, 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Cocolalla, Idaho, early Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023, with her loving family by her side, and is now home with her Lord and Savior.
Jan was born in 1943, and grew up in Tukwila, Wash., moving to Cocolalla in 1971 with her husband and family where she continuously worked in the family business, Hatcher Enterprises for over 50 years. Jan was always busier and more active than any three people put together, with an incredible love for the Lord, and for life, willing to do anything for anyone at any time.
She was happiest spending time with family and friends (and if you were friends, you were family), crafting, painting, playing cards and games, having tea parties with her granddaughters, making cards, and taking photos, lots and lots of photos.
Jan was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Schmoke; mother Del Minkler and stepfather Stanley Minkler; sister Lynn; and previous husband Ed Hatcher Sr. Jan is survived by her loving husband, Pat Bradshaw; sister Arlyn Schmoke Jones (Seattle); brother Ray Schmoke (Nevada), sister Laurel Schmoke (Nevada); brother Keith Minkler (Seattle); her children, Jeff V. Hatcher (Cocolalla), Kevin Hatcher (Cocolalla), Shaun Hatcher (Cocolalla), Bryan Hatcher (Cocolalla), Ed Hatcher Jr. (Cocolalla), Jeff L Hatcher (Seattle), Jill Hatcher (Seattle); and her many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she adored, and who will all greatly miss their "Gramma Jan."
Jan will be forever loved and missed by her large family, her even larger community of friends that she considered family, and everyone who knew her.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 22, in the Southside Community Church. Interment will be in the Westmond Cemetery (family attended), followed by a reception at the Cocolalla Bible Camp. Pastor Joseph Baugh will be officiating.
Family and friends are invited to sign Jan’s online guest book at www.coffeltfuneral.com.
Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
