Holly Marie Crase, 49
Holly Marie Crase, 49, of Sandpoint, Idaho, passed away Dec. 16, 2023, after a hard-fought battle of cancer and chemotherapy.
Holly was born Dec. 21, 1973, to Donald and Karen Green in Escondido, Calif. Through mutual friends in 1991, Holly met Charles in San Bernardino, Calif. They were together for 30 years and married April 15, 2012. Holly and Charles went on to have (and are survived by) two amazing children, Brian and Hailey, as well as a grandbaby, Violette Marie.
Holly’s working life was full of people. Whether she was working as a line cook, cashier, or dietary manager, Holly worked to care for people. She spent 17 years as a CNA and ended her career in research and development at Litehouse. During her time at Litehouse she invented at least three new recipes. Her ability to create innovative new recipes did not go unnoticed; nor did her ability to make coworkers smile.
How do you describe one of the best women on this earth? Anyone who crossed paths with Holly would agree that she cared as deeply as a person can care. Her main goal in life was to provide for others and she continually placed others before herself whether that be baking Christmas goodies for her work team, cooking for the women’s group at her Church or creating community within her neighbors at a luau gathering, Holly brought people together. Her family describes her with the following words: kind, compassionate, loving, faithful, self-giving, empathetic, intelligent and strong. She loved her family more than anything in the world and really excelled at making even the mundane moments fun. She will be missed dearly by all.
A celebration of life will be held at North Summit Church, 201 N. Division Ave., in Sandpoint at 11 a.m Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023.
