JDS sets winter adult art classes

Pend Oreille Arts Council’s Joyce Dillon Studio committee has updated its catalog with an exciting lineup of adult art classes.
Four popular classes are kicking off the first week in January, so there’s no time to waste. Registration for Wildlife and Landscape Painting with Dan Carpenter, Windchimes with Julie Ellis, Pastels with T Kurtz, and Sketching the Built Environment with Barry Burgess will close Friday, Dec. 29. These well-attended classes are perfect for beginners and more experienced artists.
Many of the studio’s favorite classes will be returning to the schedule this winter and there will also be some new classes offered in Jewelry Making, Oil and Cold Wax Painting, Watercolor Portraits, and Metalworks. Classes will be held in the new Joyce Dillon Studio located at the back of the POAC Gallery at 313 N. Second Ave. The newly renovated studio has a well-planned workspace, lots of natural lighting, and available parking behind the building. It promises to be an excellent space for learning and creating.
