BOCC meetings resume this week
SANDPOINT — The Bonner County commissioners are ringing in the new year with a decently-sized agenda for their regularly scheduled Tuesday meeting.
Commissioner Asia Williams has two items on the agenda this week that were both briefly talked about in workshops at the end of last week — archiving public records requests on the county website and designating an employee for property management oversight.
Commissioner Luke Omodt also has an item up for discussion regarding having legal counsel attend all business meetings and executive sessions.
Additionally, the board will hear from the county Clerk, Solid Waste, Road and Bridge, Human Resources, Recreation, and Assessor departments regarding multiple resolutions, monetary requests, permit approvals, and operating plans.
The meeting is set to end with two executive sessions: One regarding human resources issues and the other regarding critical infrastructure. Executive sessions are closed to the public to give officials a chance to discuss confidential information; however, all decisions must be made in open session.
Board of Bonner County Commission meetings are held at the Bonner County Administration Building, 1500 U.S. 2; and also are live streamed via YouTube. To access the streams, visit the Bonner County YouTube page at bit.ly/3NElj9X.
