Eat pizza and help the Sandpoint Lacrosse Club

| February 2, 2023 1:00 AM

The Sandpoint Lacrosse Club is kicking off its season with its annual silent auction. The community is invited to attend their “Pizza 4 Players” fundraiser Tuesday, Feb. 7 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Powder Hound Pizza on Superior in Sandpoint.

This silent auction is the club's main fundraiser for the year and supports youth and high school programs for boys and girls.

The club also expanded this year to add programs for youth boys and girls in kindergarten through second grade.

All proceeds from the night go toward safety gear needs, field rentals, officials' fees, scholarships and tournament fees.

Local businesses have donated some amazing items and experiences for attendees to bid on. All are welcome to attend this fundraiser, meet board members and learn more about lacrosse in Sandpoint plus enjoy delicious pizza.

In the silent auction, there are a number of items with lots of variety plus a wide range of price points for all to enjoy. Some notable items include a brand new pair of K2 skis, dinner for two at Candle in the Woods, golf for four at The Idaho Club, a three-night RV adventure, Silverwood package, Schweitzer ski passes, lacrosse swag and much more.

In addition to silent auction bidding, attendees will have the option to participate in a 50/50 raffle. The raffle will also include the chance to win some fun merchandise throughout the evening.

Local donors helping to support Sandpoint Lacrosse include Evans Brothers, Alpine Shop, Refined Aesthetics, Sweet Lou's, Sandpoint Furniture, Panhandle Cone and Coffee, Sandpoint Cinemas and more.
