Diana Williams, 76

| February 11, 2023 1:00 AM

Diana Marie Williams, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023, at the age of 76.

Diana was born in Redlands, Calif., on September 20, 1946, to Joaquin and Esther Lara. She met her handsome Marine husband, Ronald L. Williams, on the beach in Oceanside, Calif. They were married Dec. 11, 1965, which began a long and wonderful 57-year love story. Diana was a social butterfly, the life of every party, usually the first to arrive and the last to leave, always dressed to the nines, hair, make-up and fancy clothes. She was a friend to everyone who crossed her path.

Before moving to Sagle, Idaho, Ron and Diana raised their three children in Beaumont, Calif. Her children and grandchildren were the pride of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Ron; son Ron Williams Jr. of Sandpoint, Idaho; daughter Denise Bianco (Chad) of Riverside, Calif.; and son Chris Williams (Christy) Sagle, Idaho. She had 10 grandchildren, Cooper, Tyler, Trent, Zachary, Tori, Paris, Preston, Paige, Brennan and Owen; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Joaquin Lara Jr. (Rosalind), and Michael Lara (Susie); and sister Karen Woods (Randy). She is preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin and Esther; and her brother, Dennis Lara.

After a battle with cancer, she was gifted with a liver and kidney transplant in 2012. Her family will forever be grateful for the kindness and generosity of that special organ donor. She passed away surrounded by the love and support of her family. Everyone will remember her for her contagious laugh, generous heart and open, loving arms.
