Presidents' Day youth softball clinic set

Girls from first to eighth grade are invited to take part in an upcoming Presidents Day softball clinic.

Players of all skill levels are invited to take part in the event Monday, Feb. 20.

For first through fourth graders, the clinic is 8 to 10 a.m. For fifth through eighth grade, it's 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $10 per student for the event, held in Sandpoint High School's gym, 410 S. Division Ave.

Participants will learn and hone skills in hitting, fielding, baserunning and pitching.

All proceeds raised will benefit Sandpoint High School softball.
