Herndon should spend time on real issues, concerns
Responding to the Daily Bee article, “Idaho Supreme Court hears Festival case.” Scott Herndon, the North Idaho senator, continues in his efforts to increase the risk of firearm danger to the citizens of Bonner County.
This lawsuit, should it be successful, increases the potential for Festival attendees to be injured or killed. Untrained, unsupervised and potentially intoxicated personnel carrying loaded firearms in a crowded venue is a recipe for disaster.
Herndon claims to advance this lawsuit in the name of freedom. It is, in fact, just the opposite. It is an offensive display of disregard for the freedom of Festival attendees to enjoy the event without fear of being shot by another attendee.
Herndon would be well-advised to spend his time working on real Bonner County issues and concerns rather than such a frivolous lawsuit.
