Did letter sow some seeds of doubt?

| February 21, 2023 1:00 AM

It would seem I have sown the seeds of doubt. That was not my intention, but it could explain why Monte Heil’s response seems so defensive.

Mr. Heil’s My Turn column of Jan. 31 sounded like he was trying to convince himself more than anyone else.

Will the following sow more seeds of doubt?

The Hindu god Krishna is worshiped as the eighth avatar of Vishnu. When the British first occupied India, Krishna was originally spelled Chrishna.

After a few years, Chrishna was changed to Krishna as British Christian theologians were upset with the similarity between Chrishna and Christ. Drop the HNA and add a T and you have Christ.

Christ consciousness is Chrishna consciousness. In other words, Chrishna consciousness is where Christ came from.

The word Christ gives credence to the belief many have that Jesus traveled to and spent time in India during the so-called “missing years.”

Suggested reading, “The World's Sixteen Crucified Saviors” by Kersey Graves. In it, Graves details how Chrishna was the first of the “Crucified Saviors” 1200 years prior to Jesus.

Those who embrace organized religion take it personally when anyone questions the message they believe in. Instead of defending the message, they usually attack the messenger. Isn’t that so Monte?
