Are you ready to take the Next Steps?
SANDPOINT — Are you and your students ready to take the Next Steps?
Eighth through 12-grade students and their parents are invited to attend Lake Pend Oreille School District’s Next Steps Night. The program, set for March 14, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.
The program, put on by Sandpoint High School and funded by PAFE, will be a tremendous opportunity for students to connect with area businesses and colleges.
In addition to a career fair, there will be a chance to meet local businesses, talk to college representatives, take part in breakout sessions, and speak with military representatives. In addition, there will be prize giveaways and a scholarship drawing.
“We want to thank the businesses who have chosen to invest in students and families by committing to attend,” Kristin Hawkins, LPOSD community relations liaison, said.
Businesses taking part in the event include Albeni Falls, Kochava, Litehouse, North Idaho Dental, Daher, Idaho Forest Group, YMCA, Timber and forestry firefighters, Silverwood, Paul Mitchell Hair School, Family Health Center, Lignetics, Six Star Automotive, Encoder, Untapped Heath College, Pend Oreille Veterinary Service, Anderson Auto Body, Bonner General Health, Northside Fire District, Waste Management and the U.S. Postal Service.
There are still tables available. Businesses interested in participating may contact Angela Dail, at angela.dail@lposd.org.
