Patricia Lynn Stanifer, 85

Patricia L. Stanifer died at the age of 85 on Nov. 17, 2022. She was at home surrounded by her family after suffering a stroke.

Pat was born March 29, 1937, in Pennsylvania, then moved to California as a young girl with her six siblings and grew up in California and Idaho.

Pat was the beloved mother of her daughter, Linda (Tim); and her son, Daniel (Julie). She was the grandmother of five, Hannah (Lee), Holly (Michael), Hallie (Lucas), Renee (Sean) and Elijah; and a great-grandmother of eight. She is also survived by her sisters, Roberta, Elaine and Paulette; and her brother, Ronald. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles Stanifer; her sister, Ethel; her brother, Clifford; and a grandson, Zachary.

Pat had an abiding faith in Jesus Christ. She was very devoted to her family and loved spending time with them all. She loved people and was called Grandma by many. Pat always ended every conversation or meeting with a very sincere “God bless.”

Pat also loved gardening, cooking and crafting. She was a talented seamstress, sewing square dance dresses and wedding gowns for others.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
