BGH delivered excellent care, compassion

I recently broke my arm and went to Bonner General Health's Emergency Department, where I received excellent care. Lori met me at the door and I was soon escorted to an examining room where sweet Rachel, the CNA took my vital signs. Soon someone was in to get a history and X-rays, and then Dr. Hurt set my arm. It was all accomplished professionally, kindly, and quickly. I was very impressed with the service I received there.

A week later, I was treated in same-day surgery by a wonderful team of nurses, Adam, and Dr. Leedle. Cheryl, the pre-op nurse was so good and although she has 44 years of experience, she has remained compassionate and caring. I wish I could remember each nurse's name. I know there was Jesse and Missy … Everyone was very nice. Adam did a great job of communicating the goals of the anesthetist and effectively administering a nerve block. I enjoyed the fact that I was alert up to the time as I transferred to the OR table. Thank you to a wonderful team — pre-op, post-op, and in-between — I am grateful that we have Bonner General Health serving our community.

I appreciated Dr. Leedle when I consulted with him about the option of surgery. The pros and cons that he describes seem so balanced, and he gave me a little extra time to make a decision.
