Thomas Cates, 40, of Noxon, Montana, was arrested in the area of Highway 200 and North Stephen Street in Clark Fork at 10:12 p.m. on charges of the possession of methamphetamine, possession of oxycodone, paraphernalia, and driving without privileges.

Deputies received an alarm call on High Meadow Drive in Priest River at 3:21 a.m.

Jan. 3

A male was transported to BGH for treatment after a report of suicide threats in the city at 7:30 a.m.

Report of vehicles blocking the alleyway between Cedar and Oak at 10:09 a.m.

An officer assisted a citizen in the 700 block of N. Ella Avenue at 10:45 a.m.

Report of possible fraud in the 1700 block of Pine Street at 10:44 a.m.

Report of a tobacco violation in the 400 block of S. Division Avenue at 12:18 p.m.

Report of a hit-and-run collision in the 1100 block of W. Lake Street at 2:36 p.m.

Jacob G. Riggins, 43, of Kootenai, was arrested in the Brittany Loop area in Kootenai at 3:07 p.m. on charges of fleeing/eluding a police officer, driving under the influence, and second offense no insurance.

Report of a structure fire in the 100 block of S. First Avenue at 4:15 p.m. was determined to be unfounded.

Report of a male trespassing in the 800 block of Fifth Avenue at 5:37 p.m.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on Moonflower Lane at 11:19 p.m.

A possible sex offense reported in the city was place under investigation at 12:21 a.m.
