Herndon's views already proving that a replacement is needed

| January 26, 2023 1:00 AM

Our recently elected state Sen. Scott Herndon is proving why he got so few votes in our last election.

Evidently, his first goal as a legislator is to remove the exception of rape and incest from Idaho’s already draconian abortion law. His second order of business was to rewrite the definition of abortion to read as the killing of a live fetus.

It seems that, despite his campaign rhetoric, it is the control of women’s bodies that really motivates his efforts as a legislator. Please, folks, let’s find a suitable replacement to run against this man, who apparently sees life as if he is living in the 19th century.
