Putting STEM into practice

Sagle Elementary Students recently applied engineering practices and teamwork to create an igloo on the playground behind the school. Children from various grades gathered ice and snow from the schoolyard and worked together to lay out the design. They strategically stacked the pieces on top of each other to accomplish their goal and enjoyed working on their project during recess time throughout the school day.
