Winefest returning for its sixth year
Schweitzer’s Northwest Winefest is back for the sixth year and it’s expected to be better than ever.
For two full days, 20 wineries from around the Pacific Northwest will be showcasing over 80 unique flavors in the Schweitzer village. Five bands are lined up to keep the party going all weekend long while guests enjoy barbeque and craft vendors with their beverages.
Each guest will receive a souvenir wine glass when they purchase their tasting tickets. Each ticket will get attendees a two-ounce taste of any wine of their choosing. Additional tickets as well as whole bottles of wine can be purchased.
Wine tasting isn’t the only activity people can participate in at Schweitzer this weekend. Take a ride up the Great Escape chairlift and visit the Sky House lodge at the top of the mountain or check out the trampoline jumper, climbing wall, disc golf course, hiking and biking trails!
Tasting will run from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 15, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 16. A 9-ounce souvenir glass with six tasting tickets costs $35, a 15-ounce glass with six tickets is $40 and an insulated, stainless glass with six tickets will be $45. Additional tasting tickets will cost $3 each.
