Road issues are sign of so-called progress

I’ve spoken to a Bonner County Fairgrounds employee asking about the possibility of the facility opening up its road between Samuelson Avenue and N. Boyer Road. I was told they would not do this because of the wear and tear it would cause.

I also spoke to an employee at the new construction site about the frustration due to confusing signage. According to him, N. Boyer was going to be closed sporadically for the next two weeks. Add to that, taking the only alternative — Great Northern Road has caused on occasion at least a half-hour wait at the train crossing.

Another example of the so-called progress which favors only a few!
