His plan for your life
PASTOR KEN LAWRENCE / Contributing Writer
Yes! God has a great plan for your life. Whether you are a Christian at this point or not God loves you and wants to fill your life with new direction.
It begins with faith, without which it is impossible to please Him. If you need to begin or to begin anew in your friendship with Him, you will need to repent of your sins and ask God’s Son, Jesus, to come into your heart. If you have been committed to Him already, then He has much more for you than you may have realized.
Job 10:12 says, “God has granted me life and favor, and His care has preserved my spirit.”
Throughout the Bible, God talks about wanting to give His people favor, but we have very limited expectations. You may feel as if you are not good enough for God or His favor (blessing). Perhaps you think of yourself as little or unimportant. However, little is much when God is in it.
You will receive what you believe. Now is the time to begin to believe God for His favor in your life. As you experience His favor, you will find increased fellowship with Him and with people.
As you share your faith and favor in fellowship with other people, you will find a new fruitfulness in your life that is beyond what you had been expecting. Continue to experience faith, favor, fellowship, and fruitfulness, and the process will cause you to be more aware of God’s using your life for His purposes.
Separate note: It was my privilege to start this column over 20 years ago and coordinate it until a couple of years ago. Recently, Pastor Scott Acklin has assumed the responsibility. We like to include positive faith-building articles submitted by local pastors of recognized Christian churches. Please contact me at sandpointriver@gmail.com if you would like to be scheduled for a later issue of the Bee and I will be happy to put you in contact with Pastor Scott.
