Trails + Tales at Pine Street Woods Tuesday

Kaniksu Land Trust and the East Bonner County Library District have partnered together to put on Trails + Tales, a free outdoor story time and nature walk at Pine Street Woods.

The community is invited to join these organizations Tuesday, July 11, for an animated reading of a children’s book, a guided nature discovery walk, snacks, and community connection. Nature walks are led by Jenn and Caitlyn, the KLT summer conservation and education interns. Books are read by the library children’s department staff. It’s free, fun and fosters a love of nature and reading.

This week’s theme is bees. The story options being read are “Give Bees a Chance,” “Are You a Bee?” “These Bees Count,” and/or “Things about Bees.”

Meet at Pine Street Woods at 9 a.m. Tuesday to join in the fun.
