Group sets 'sip and shop' event

Summer is here and it’s time for a fundraiser for Friends of the Panida.

The organization is hosting a "sip and shop" at Pend d'Oreille Winery, corner of Third and Cedar, on Thursday, July 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. It's a chance to visit with friends while enjoying a glass of wine and good food. The winery will donate a portion of sales during the event to Friends of the Panida.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Friends of the Panida is an independent organization that raises and distributes money to support a variety of projects at the historic. For instance, FOP recently donated funds to cover the cost of materials needed to construct the new outside stairs at the Little Theater.
