First Wake for Warriors event announced

Lake Pend Oreille, in partnership with Tobler Marina, is hosting its first annual Wake for Warriors event for both veterans and active duty military members on July 28-30.

Starting at 3 p.m. each day, area veterans are invited to join marina staff for surfing, lots of food, and spending time with other veterans from the area. This event is open to disabled and injured veterans and active duty service members only. The event will last one hour on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Caregivers will be allowed on a case-by-case basis for this event. Unfortunately, service animals cannot be accommodated at this event.
