Scientific organizations backed by socialist government

| July 18, 2023 1:00 AM

In her letter of July 6, Jan Freed made a number of statements that need to be corrected.

She referred to “the unfounded paranoia of the far right” regarding the socialist/communist desire to control the world’s population. But it is not paranoia when the United Nations admits that they want to do exactly that. (bit.ly/3Z3rmHb)

Neither Allstate nor State Farm ever said that they “won’t insure homes in California due to rising temperatures.” What they said was that having too many trees around one’s home may present a fire hazard — so cut them down.

The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund have made it abundantly clear that they want to control the world’s economies by any means possible. Hence, the socialist/communist connection with them.

And most of the world’s scientific organizations receive funding from socialist governments, which means they are not going to buck the politically correct viewpoint.

Freed says that “during the last 12,000 years [the climate] was quite stable.” That is, until the Industrial Revolution, she means when man started changing the climate. But she conveniently forgets the scientifically-proven fact of The Little Ice Age and other dramatic changes in recent climate.

The Cuyahoga River fire was an oil slick that was sparked by a passing train and extinguished in about 20 minutes. It had nothing to do with climate change. Neither does the seasonal “ozone hole.”
