Coffee in the Garden event announced

If you are looking for coffee, tea, treats — and good conversation — look no further than Create Art Center on Thursdays this summer as the facility welcomes a variety of artists to demonstrate their talents.

The Coffee in the Garden program began July 13 and runs through Aug. 24. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to noon.

July 20 — Linda Cassella and friends, ukuleles and guitars

July 27 — Carl Kostoff, eatable weeds in the garden

Aug. 3 — Jean Wakeley, painting rocks

Aug. 10 — Anna Taylor, tai chi

Aug. 17 — Angela Drew, pottery

Aug. 24 — Lynn Walters, batik on paper
