P.E.O. announces award recipients

Chapter V, P.E.O. selected two outstanding SHS senior girls to receive the Alma Martin Award Girl Scholarships. From left to right: Haleigh Knowles, Mary Rogers (Project Committee representative) and Adeline Henny. Each girl received a $1000 scholarship. Haleigh plans to attend the University of Idaho to study psychology. She has also been selected for the U of I dance team. Adeline’s plans are to attend Utah Tech University and study environmental science. P.E.O. is a philanthropic educational organization that supports women in pursuing their education.
