Are you a yard-saler?
If so, you're going to want to check out the annual rummage sale of the Sandpoint unit of United Women of Faith (formerly United Methodist Women) this weekend. The group holds a yard sale each year to raise money for its support of global, regional and local mission work. The sale will take place Saturday at the United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Boyer Ave. and Cedar St. in Sandpoint.
Doors open promptly at 8:30 a.m. and the sale begins to wrap up at 2 p.m. Some items will be on display outdoors at the entrance to the church. Housewares, home decorating items, furniture and clothing for all ages are the main staples of this sale. As our regular customers know, nothing is priced. Purchase prices are determined by the buyer's good faith, knowing how the money will be used.
