CFHS to host annual youth football camp
The Clark Fork High School annual youth football camp will be held July 21-22 at the Clark Fark football field. There will be three sessions — July 21 from 5 to 8 p.m., and July 22 from 8 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. There is no cost to attend, but donations will be accepted to help fund the CFHS football program. Athletes from seventh to 12th grade are eligible to participate.
This year's coaching staff includes four distinguished football players, two of whom graduated from CFHS — Ron Heller (Class of 1981) former tight end at Oregon State and a part of the San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl XXIII Championship team, and Todd Johnson (Class of 1983) former linebacker and tight end at Eastern Washington University where he resides in the Hall of Fame and was voted 'Most Inspirational Player' by his teammates. Former Oregon State center, Mason Johnson, and former Glendale College and Kansas City Chiefs 12th round draftee in 1981, Bob Gagliano will also be a part of the coaching staff.
