SHS alumni runs 50-mile ultramarathon

Sandpoint High School Alumni Kelsi Camp (Class of 1994), competed in the Trail Rail Run’s 50-mile ultramarathon in St. Regis, Mont., last Saturday. Camp finished 19th overall with a time of 10 hours and 51 minutes.
Camp not only finished 19th overall, but also finished first in the women’s 40-49 age division and was the fifth overall female. The course ran from Mullan, Idaho, to St. Regis along the old Milwaukee and Northern Pacific Railroad grades. Competitors are often attracted to this course for its beautiful scenery while crossing through the Rocky Mountains.
