Lucille Ethel Kibler, 95, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, June 24, 2023, in Silver Valley, Idaho, at the age of 95.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, July 3, 2023, in Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River, Idaho. Dale G. Coffelt will be officiating.
She was born to Harvey and Helen Frappier in Winona, Minn., July 31, 1927. She was the oldest of seven children, including two brothers and four sisters.
She grew up in Fryburg, N.D., where she graduated high school with perfect attendance all 12 years. She enjoyed playing basketball in school and was selfless and hard-working even as a child.
She had four daughters: Karen, Judy, Shirley and Donna; one son, Clarence; three stepsons: Lewis, Lynn and Lee; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Her impressive work ethic was displayed throughout her career working in commercial fishing, mill production, and bartending before retiring as a manager at the Eagles 589 Lodge—where she was a member for over 60 years. Even after retirement, she continued her dedication by volunteering at the Senior’s Thrift Store for several years.
Throughout her life, she loved spending time with her family, fishing, gardening, dancing, listening to country music, watching football and Nascar, doing word searches, and playing bingo, pinochle, cribbage, and pool.
Lucille was preceded in death by her father, Harvey, and mother, Helen; her siblings, Sylvia, Caroline, Harriet, Loretta, James and Leon; her children, Karen and Clarence "Ole"; her best friend, Irma; and her beloved husband of 28 years, Harold.
