Sasquatch 14U win Father’s Day Invitational

The Sandpoint Sasquatch 14U travel baseball team won the Father's Day Invitational over the Moscow Generals 5-2 on Sunday, June 18, in Post Falls to cap off an undefeated tournament run.
The Sasquatch clinched four wins on Father's Day weekend. The team cruised through three victories in pool play defeating the St. Maries Lumberjacks 11-1, the Moscow Generals 8-6, and the North Idaho Bandits 21-4. In the championship game, the Sasquatch took an early 5-0 lead after three innings and were able to fend off the Generals to secure a 5-2 victory in six innings of play.
The Sandpoint Sasquatch 14U's next tournament will be at War Memorial Field July 7-9 against various 15U travel baseball teams from Canada.
