Spaldings celebrate 70th anniversary

Robert and Ione Spalding of Bonners Ferry are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary today, March 1.
The couple, who are retired, are joined in the celebration at the family home by their children, Rosanna Sugalski of Spokane, Rob Spalding of Bonners Ferry, Cheryl Wheeler of Spokane and Teresa Taggart of Bonners Ferry. The couple also have 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
"Congratulations to Bob and Ione Spalding, who celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on March 1," their children said in celebrating the anniversary. "What a milestone. We love you - Rosanna, Rob, Cheryl and Teresa."
