Bonner County students earn academic honors, degrees
Koch named to UI dean's list
Libby Koch has earned a spot on the University of Idaho dean's list for the College of Natural Resources. Koch was selected for the honor after earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the fall 2022 semester.
Watching students develop career skills and reach goals is perhaps the most rewarding part of being a professor, Dennis R. Becker, Ph.D., dean of the College of Natural Resources, wrote in a letter announcing the honor.
"On behalf of the College of Natural Resources, I want to express our pride in your accomplishments, and we wish you continued success in all your future endeavors," Becker said.
Miller makes RIT dean's list
Kendall Miller of Sandpoint was named to the dean's list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. Miller is in the ASL-English interpretation program.
Students are eligible for dean's list if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
Burnett earns academic honors
Kylie Burnett of Dover has been named to St. Lawrence University's dean's list for achieving academic excellence during the fall 2022 semester.
Burnett is a member of the Class of 2026. Burnett attended Shattuck-Saint Mary's School.
To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
Area residents named to Gonzaga dean's list
The following local residents have earned placement on the Gonzaga University dean's list for fall semester 2022. Students must earn a 3.5 to 3.84 grade-point average to be listed.
Earning a spot on the dean's list were Ava Mazzilli and Bailey Stapleton, both of Sandpoint.
Gonzaga offers over 75 fields of study, 24 master's degrees, four doctoral degrees in one college and six schools.
Drury announces fall 2022 dean's list
Earning a spot on Drury University's dean's list for the fall semester was J.T. Long of Oldtown.
The recognition means a student earned a grade point average of 3.6 or greater (on a 4-point scale) while carrying a full-time course load of 12 or more semester hours at Drury, a top Midwestern university, according to US News & World Report.
