Create announces silent auction

From unique gift baskets to work by local arts, Create Art Center's upcoming silent auction has a little something for everyone.

The silent auction will be held at the center, 900 W. Fourth in Newport, on Saturday, March 12. The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m.

The silent auction will include live music by Ben Kardos, refreshments, and a broad array of exceptional pieces from the old to the new.

The community is invited to come bid on the items, including some created by local artists. Among the items up for bid at the silent auction are unique gift baskets, pottery, fiber arts, an antler basket, antiques, quilts, jewelry, an oak framed stand mirror, American folk art painted box, a youth bicycle, a cord of red fir (seasoned and cut) firewood and more.
