Gonzaga announces president's list honors
The following local residents have earned placement on the Gonzaga University President's List for fall semester 2022. Students must earn a 3.85 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed.
Joseph Parsley of Sagle and Katherine Mellander of Sandpoint earned a spot on the list.
Gonzaga offers over 75 fields of study, 24 master's degrees, four doctoral degrees in one college and six schools.
Thornton named to SNHU dean's list
Brocklynn Thornton of Clark Fork has been named to Southern New Hampshire University's Fall 2022 dean's list. The fall terms run from September to December.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the dean's list. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
Welter named to SNHU president's list
Brandon Welter of Sandpoint has been named to Southern New Hampshire University's fall 2022 president's list. The fall terms run from September to December.
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the president's list. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.
Brass earns degree at MSU
BOZEMAN — Montana State University awarded 851 undergraduate degrees during its 137th commencement ceremony held Dec. 16 at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.
Among those earning their degree was Niah Brass, who graduated with honors, achieving a cumulative GPA between 3.25 and 3.69.
Bradish earns academic honors
Katie Bradish of Sandpoint was among the more than 7,500 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the dean's list for the 2022 fall semester.
Bradish is a fourth-year student at Iowa's University College majoring in Bachelor of Liberal Studies.
Dean's list status was earned by only 2,427 first-year undergraduates during the 2022 fall semester at Iowa, only 1,768 second-year students, only 1,503 third-year students, and only 1,845 fourth-year students.
Area students named to Carroll dean's list
A trio of Bonner County students were named to the dean's list at Carroll College for fall 2022.
Capodagli Corinne of Sandpoint, Carty Thomas of Sandpoint, and Tripp Avery of Priest River earned a spot on the list.
The designation requires a grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale for a minimum of 12 credits completed in a semester.
FHU announces academic honors
Freed-Hardeman University has released the names of students who made the president's and dean's lists for the fall 2022 semester.
Sarah Johnson of Sandpoint was named to the president's list. She is earning a bachelor of arts degree in interactive digital design designer.
To be on the president's list, a student must be full-time and have a 4.0 GPA.
EWU announces dean's list
Eastern Washington University has announced the names of students who earned a spot of the fall dean's list. Nearly 2,750 students earned a spot on the list.
Named to the list were Graci Allen of Sandpoint and Lillian Nolan of Priest River.
An undergraduate student who earns 12 quality hours and receives a GPA of 3.5 or better is placed on the dean's list.
MSU announces undergraduate honor roll
Montana State University has announced its undergraduate honor rolls for the fall semester of 2022.
To be eligible for the president's list and the dean's list, students must be enrolled in at least 12 college-level credits.
Students with a 4.0 GPA for the semester were named to the president's list. An asterisk follows their names below. The dean's list includes the students earning GPAs of 3.5 or above for the semester.
