POAC presents MCT's 'Red Riding Hood'

On Saturday, March 25, POAC welcomes Missoula Children’s Theatre back to Sandpoint for “Red Riding Hood.”

Two performances will be held at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Panida Theater.

This production is fun for the whole family and features over 50 local students of all ages who auditioned for roles in the play based on the classic fairy tale, with a few twists. Some students will perform as actors, and others will gain experience behind the scenes as assistant directors. The children are selected for their roles on Monday and begin auditioning in earnest with a polished production ready to go for the two public performances on Saturday.

“We value our decades-long relationship with the Missoula Children’s Theatre and know that local children and their families look forward to their return all year,” said POAC executive director Tone Lund. “The amount of work they do the kids all week, and all the fun the participants have is truly remarkable!”

Doors will open one hour prior to both show times on Saturday.
