Pearce to perform at North Idaho Fair

Carly Pearce is joining the "Party in the Dirt" concert series in the Findlay Arena on Aug. 21 to kick off the concert series at the North Idaho State Fair this summer.

With hits like “Never Wanted To Be That Girl,” “Hide The Win,e” “Next Girl” and her latest chart-topper, “What He Didn’t Do,” Pearce's show will be one of the most anticipated events in the area, North Idaho State Fair officials said.

“Our team finds such joy in bringing artists like Carly Pearce to our community," Kootenai County Fairgrounds general manager Alexcia Jordan said. "For years people have asked us to bring a female country artist. We are thrilled to finally make that happen for our fair fans. Kicking off our Party in the Dirt concert series with someone as talented as Carly Pearce is going to set the stage for an exceptional fair.”

Pearce is known to be fiercely rooted in the classics, the girl who left her Kentucky home and high school at 16 to take a job at Dollywood has grown into a woman who embraces the genre’s forward progression. Honored as one of CMT’s 2022 Artists of The Year, the 2021 CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and reigning ACM Awards Female Artist of the Year is living out her childhood dream.

“Acres of Fun” is the theme of the 2023 North Idaho State Fair, which will run Aug. 18-27. The fair will showcase entertainment and attractions suitable for the whole family. The fair is also the host of the Gem State Stampede — two evenings and one matinee performance of Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo action as well as Xtreme Bulls.
