Local golfer hits a surprising hole-in-one

Sandpoint local Eric Plummer sank his first ever hole-in-one on Sunday, April 30 at The Mesa Country Club in Mesa, Ariz.
Plummer swung a 6 iron up against a stiff crosswind on the 180-yard hole while playing with his son Declan, a Sandpoint High School graduate who now works at the Mesa Country Club.
The ball struck the center of the green, and after looking all over for the ball, the group finally discovered it in the bottom of the cup.
