Forum proves Stacy Rodriguez best for library

I attended the East Bonner County Library Board candidate forum two weeks ago, and it has been very interesting to read some of the letters submitted to our various papers. I wonder whether some of the people writing in were at the same event I witnessed.

Stacy Rodriguez was the far more prepared candidate. She had given much more thought regarding how to best administer the library for the sake of the community than her opponent. She had a substantially better understanding than did her opponent of the legal issues that the library currently faces, those which they may face and ways to preempt them, as well as the legislation proposed by the state of Idaho. And Stacy was also much better prepared to answer questions about library spending and finances than her opponent, despite her opponent’s claim to be the financial expert on the board.

Stacy Rodriguez was the objectively better candidate in every way, and it wasn’t close. Please join me in voting for Stacy on May 16.
