Kindergarten roundup on tap

Lake Pend Oreille School District teachers and staff are looking forward to meeting next year’s kindergartners at its first districtwide “Kindergarten Roundup” day Thursday.

Parents and incoming kindergartners can attend anytime between 8:30 and 11 a.m., or between noon and 3:30 p.m., at their zoned elementary school.

Children will meet kindergarten teachers, and parents can register their children for the 2023-24 school year. Every incoming student will be given a readiness screener.
